Why did you choose to become a hall director?
I chose to become a Hall Director because I wanted to do work that I am genuinely excited about. After doing some self-reflection, I realized that I was very passionate about personal development and leadership. So, when I learned about the Hall Director role, I felt that I could use the wisdom I've gained from my own personal growth and leadership experiences to add value to students and create a positive, growth-oriented community for them.
Why did you choose to work at Res Life at UNH?
I chose ResLife at UNH because I absolutely loved my time as a UNH student. I knew that I wanted to work at a spirited University that felt like home, and I thought what better than my alma mater?
What advice would you give to students?
Take time to learn who you are and what you value in life. Let that be the foundation of the action you take. Even when it doesn't make sense to others. Follow your heart and trust your intuition.
